Twin Brothers Marine was incorporated under the laws of the state of Louisiana U.S.A, in 1975 by the Twin brothers, J. Cameron Webster and David H. Webster. It remains a privately owned entity today. In 2000, the business structure was changed to a limited liability company (LLC). Twin Brothers Marine, the first tenant of the Port of West St. Mary, located near Lafayette, Louisiana, is a major international steel fabricator of offshore deck and modules up to 7,500 tons and jackets for up to 500 ft. of water depth and a manufacturer of large diameter (28" to 222") , heavy wall (1/2" to 4 1/2 ") tubular for use as pilings, caissons, pipe for resale, monopiles, suction piles, deck and jacket legs, conductor pipe, pressure vessels, separators, kilns, towers, etc. Shipments are made by water, rail, and highway. While much of the platform fabrication work is of such a size that it is more efficient that it be performed out-of-doors, in 2002, Twin Brothers Marine added an acre of covered work area supported by 6 - 20 ton overhead cranes, so more work could be under roof. Twin Brothers Marine's mills are now capable of producing 40,000 tons of rolled and welded pipe annually. Lengths vary from 10' to 450' and longer. Twin Brothers Marine now has a Postweld Heat Treatment Furnace. The fabrication yard is qualified to ISO 9001:2008 series standards, and it is capable of building to multiple industry standards. Twin Brothers Marine is one of the select few USA fabricators located on the Gulf of Mexico that has in-house pipe manufacturing capability which allows it to manufacture the decklegs, jacket legs and pilings for the offshore oil and gas platforms it is fabricating. This makes inspection more efficient and helps improve on time delivery. Twin Brothers Marine's Market perspective is "larger project participation" while increasing bid opportunities. With this perspective entrenched in its vision and planning for the future Twin Brothers Marine has established itself as a major fabricator in the international arena for offshore energy prospects. Completed projects for Nigeria, Cote D'Ivoire, Cameroon, Gabon, Trinidad, West Indies and Venezuela attest that Twin Brothers Marine is a player in the International platform fabrication market. TBM's organization is supported by the Office of Strategic Planning & Business Development, a separate entity located in Morgan City , LA. This office also incorporates sales.
